A hard disk formated as exFAT from Windows 11 sometimes does not get recognized on macOS. This could be because of the partition table and allocation size. The easiest fix for this is to format the drive as exFAT from macOS using the Disk Utility with GPT partition scheme. exFAT drives formatted from macOS gets recognized in Windows without any issue.
